I wrote a sports column about the St. Louis Cards’ southpaw pitcher Jaime Garcia two weeks ago. Last week, I was lucky enough to interview him by phone. Garcia, 28, was born in Reynosa, pitched at Sharyland, and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2005. He made his major league debut against the Pirates in 2008.
