PSJA North falls short in loss to Weslaco High

For the first 10-plus quarters of the 2018 high school football season, the Weslaco Panthers worked methodically and, many would say, dominantly through their opponents whether on offense, defense, special teams - or three.
Then in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s non-district matchup at PSJA North, a blip showed up on the radar screen. For a coach like Mike Salinas, who spends his NFL Sundays more in the football office at school than watching a football game, it was quite a noticeable blip.
