ALAMO–Blanca Elvia Lozano, 57, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Reynosa, she had lived in Alamo all of her life. She is survived by her husband, Gustavo Lozano of Alamo; five children, Gustavo Lozano, Jr., Gerardo Lozano, Gilberto Lozano, Gladys Lozano, and Guillermo Lozano, all of Alamo; four grandchildren; two sisters, Noelia Murillo, Mirerva De Los Santos, both of Alamo; and a brother, Guadalupe Garza, of Alamo. Visitation was held from 1 to 9 p.m., March 1, and March 2, with a talk at 7 p.m., at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. March 3, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
