LUCIANA FARIAS PARKER
SAN JUAN - Luciana Farias Parker went on to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018 at the age of 65.
She was born in Rio Grande City, Texas to Wenceslado and Graciela Farias. She graduated from Pan American University and earned a Juris Prudence Doctorate Degree at Reynaldo G. Garza School of Law. She touched the lives of many students over the course of 30 years, finally retiring from PSJA ISD in 2011. She served the Lord every day of her life by sharing God’s gospel with anyone she came across and volunteered her time in missionary work.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Parker of San Juan; three daughters, Luciana (Adan) Rodriguez, Liza D. (Frank) Rodriguez, and Grace (Mattes) Rodriguez, all of San Juan. She cherished her granddaughters, Addison and Emily Alaniz. She is also survived by her five sisters, Maria Ruiz, Luisa Farias, Elva Farias, Paula Farias and Graciela Morales; and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all.
Visitation were held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a celebration of life at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
