ALAMO – Juana L. Treviño, 95, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehab Center in McAllen. Born in San Fernando, Tamaulipas Mexico, she had lived in Alamo most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio Treviño; three brothers, Zeferino Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Francisco Lopez; two sisters, Catalina Lopez, and Manuela Lopez. Mrs. Treviño is survived by a son, Jesus A. (Olivia) Treviño of Pharr; a daughter, Rosalva (Octavio) Rivera of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. A rosary was held Tuesday, April 15, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
