Public information records ready

Finally, the City of Donna has come through with the public information requests made last month. The charge: $136.70. That price isn’t outside the scope of reason, given the amount of information The Advance requested.

Last week, we wrote a tongue-in-cheek column about how we were going to contact the Texas Attorney General and file a complaint because the city was taking too long to provide us with the information we had requested; nor had it asked for an extension. Nor would it return our phone calls.
