FREDERICK S. MALDONADO

PORT BARRE, LA / ALAMO – Frederick S. Maldonado, 51, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born in Pecos, TX. He lived in Alamo and later moved to Port Barre, LA. Frederick is preceded in death by three brothers, Fernando Maldonado, Robert Maldonado and Florencio “Max” Maldonado. He is survived by his four children, Cristine (Luis) Cruz, Leah R. Montalvo, Karina E. Maldonado, Faithlyn S. Maldonado; three grandchildren, Elysse Cruz, Isabella Cruz, Evan Montalvo; his mother, Juanita Maldonao; five siblings, Lupe Salinas, Brigido Maldonado, Juan Maldonado, Yvonne Valdez, Joel Maldonado; and his former spouse, Lupita Maldonado. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, June 5, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Graveside service took place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral service was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
