CARLOS VILLEGAS GARZA

EDINBURG – Carlos Villegas Garza, 52, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Nuevo Leon, MX, Mr. Villegas had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his mother Hortencia Garza. Carlos is survived by five children, Carlos Villegas, Jr., Adriana Villegas, Omar Villegas, all of Edinburg, Alejandro Villegas of Reynosa, Tamps., MX, Gabriel Villegas of Edinburg; a grandson, Anthony Zuniga; his father, Daniel Villegas of Nuevo Leon, MX; two brothers, Hilario Villegas, Alfonso Villegas; and a sister, Josefina Villegas. Visitation was held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, May 17, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral service were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
