ESTEBAN GARZA

Esteban Garza, Sr. 76, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, Octaviano and Tomasa Garza; and a sister, San Juana Esquivel. Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Garza of San Juan; children, Esteban (Cindy) Garza, Jr., Roel (Yolanda) Garza, both of Edinburg; Jorge Luis (Renee) Garza, Alamo, Nancy N. (Mike) Barocio of San Juan, 14 grandchildren, Esteban Garza, III, Samantha L. Garza, Joseph I. Garza, Isabella E. Garza, Kristan Nicole Garza, Roel Garza, Jr., Andrew J. Garza, Jorge Garza, Jr. Jacob N. Garza, Jasmine R. Garza, Jayden N. Garza, Erik Barocio, Randy Barocio, and Kirsten Barocio; two brothers, five sisters. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
