Six file for office

PHARR – As last Friday’s filing deadline wound down, six people – five men and one woman -- ended up plunking down their $1,000 filing fee and signed their names on the dotted line to run for the Pharr City Commission race. This year, three seats are up for grabs.

Of the six, four names are well known to the readers of The Advance, while two newcomers will join the fray.
