McAllen picks up 8 awards at TAFE conference

McALLEN — The City of McAllen is ringing in the new year, celebrating wins at the Texas Association of Fairs and Events conference. McAllen brought home eight awards for city events including the McAllen Holiday Parade, PalmFest and Concert in the Park. The McAllen Cable Network (MCN) and Quinta Mazatlan submitted applications for the first time this year and were recognized at the annual Texas Association of Fairs and Events conference held January 5-8 in San Antonio.
