Bring in the new year at the Weslaco Museum

WESLACO - Can you believe that 2017 is here already? We have had a wonderful 2016 at the Weslaco Museum with many great exhibits and programs, and wish to continue this into the new year. Starting January 3rd and running through January 26th, the Weslaco Museum will feature our collection of 19th and 20th century quilts. The museum is lucky to have some unique quilts dating all the way back to the early 1820’s. These quilts exhibited are some popular patterns from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s such as a triple Irish chain, honeycomb, crazy blocks, star of Bethlehem, flower garden, as well as several unique pieces.
