DANIEL GUTIERREZ

HIDALGO – Daniel Gutierrez, 72, died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at his residence in Hidalgo. He preceded in death his parents, Casimiro and Juana Gutierrez; two brothers, Brijido Gutierrez, Felix Gutierrez; and a sister, Maria Saucedo. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Aracelia Gutierrez of Hidalgo; three children, Veronica (Juan Antonio) Salinas of Edinburg, Ricardo Gutierrez of Hidalgo, Daniel Gutierrez of Mission; eight grandchildren, Joulin Salinas, Jovanie Salinas, Deondre Salinas, Kelis Gutierrez, Daniella Gutierrez, Derek Gutierrez, Julio Sebastian Gutierrez, Stephanie Gutierrez; four great-grandchildren, Jaideen Salinas, Jenayah Salinas, Adalyn Lerma, Noah Gutierrez; two brothers, Miguel Gutierrez of Edinburg, Alberto Gutierrez of Mission; and a sister, Esperanza Saucedo of San Antonio. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
