ANGELITA N. REYES

ALAMO – Angelita N. Reyes, 85, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, at her residence in Alamo. Born in Alamo, Mrs. Reyes had lived there all of her life and was a member of Iglesia Gethsemani. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Reyes Sr.; a grandson, Jacob Lee Reyes; and her parents, Isaias and Antonia Nino. Mrs. Reyes is survived by five sons, Esteban Reyes of Alamo, Damacio (Guadalupe) Reyes of Pharr, Jesus (Yolanda) Reyes of Alamo, Eduardo (Ida) Reyes of Donna, Erasmo (Nora) Reyes of North Richland Hills, TX; four daughters, Delia Nino, Amalia (Mario) Escobedo, Aracelia (Jesus) Gomez, all of Alamo, Jessica Y. (Mariano) Vasquez of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jovita N. Flores of Centralia, WA. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, November 28, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, at Iglesia Gethsemani in Alamo. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
