Anaya Elementary in south Pharr provides 130 turkeys for families

PHARR - One hundred and thirty families from Carmen Anaya Elementary received a free turkey during the school’s 4th annual Anaya Turkey Giveaway. Families lined up early on Nov. 17, to receive the turkeys provided by family members of the school’s namesake Carmen Anaya. Her daughter Minerva Anaya-St. John and son-in-law Chris St. John arrived with a truckload full of turkeys.
