A Crooked Election?

By Tom Haughey

There has been some concern of late about the possibility that Russian hackers may disrupt or alter our November election results. For most states, however, that is close to impossible since instate voting is usually done on electronic machines which ARE NOT HOOKED UP TO THE INTERNET. There are, however, a few exceptions. Alaska, for example, allows any voter to use the Internet. Utah lets voters with disabilities vote via Internet. There is a problem with many states, however, insofar as military ballots are concerned.
