SAN JUAN – Maria A. Rincon, 77, died Sunday July 3, 2016, at her residence in San Juan. She was born in San Luis Potosi, MX, and had lived in San Juan most of her life. Maria was a devoted Christian and served at the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle for more than 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Vicenta Aguilar; two brothers, Guadalupe and Arnulfo Aguilar; two sisters, Felipa Reyes and Margarita Bahena. Mrs. Rincon is survived by her husband, Francisco Rincon of San Juan; two children, Frank (Esmeralda) Rincon of Houston, Mario A. (Eva) Rincon of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Jose Aguilar of San Luis Potosi, MX; and two sisters, Juana Aguilar, Elpidia Diaz, both of Houston. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 5, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
