A young lady who came to place flowers at the site of one of the Paris massacres was interviewed as to her reaction to the atrocities. She noted that when Charlie Hebdo was attacked ten months ago there was pain and sorrow but the people of Paris weren't afraid. After all, the attack was aimed only at journalists. This time, however, people sitting in restaurants in their own neighborhood were gunned down. Now everyone was a target and everyone had a right to be afraid. No wonder French President Hollande declared the country was in a state of war and began restricting border crossings.
