Trial judge grants sealed motion to seal jurors’ questionnaire

As former Catholic Priest John Feit’s murder trial draws closer, his lead defense attorney, O. Rene Flores, filed a rather unusual motion last Wednesday (Aug. 23). He asked presiding state District Court Judge Luis Singleterry (92nd District Court) to not only seal the questionnaires (from both sides – defense and prosecution) that will be handed out to prospective jurors when the selection process begins in mid-September, but he also asked that the judge seal his motion.

In other words, a motion to seal, wrapped inside a motion to seal.
