National Geo’s “Border Wars”

EDINBURG – So you’re playing couch potato earlier this month, June 6th, watching a re-run of National Geographic’s popular cable show, “Border Wars,” which features drug activity along the border that we share with Mexico, and you’re thinking to yourself: “I know this guy.”
“This guy” being the Sullivan City cop prominently featured on that particular episode: Cash and Corruption. You’re watching the show, thinking: “He looks familiar. I know I’ve seen his mustachioed mug before, but where?”
Then it dawns on you: this is the very same Sullivan cop, Angel de la Mora, who was busted last summer for taking pot from the Sullivan City PD evidence room. His face was splashed all over the local news following his arrest.
