PSJA student selected for NASA High School Aerospace Scholars Program
PHARR – Kirk Miller, a junior at PSJA T. Jefferson T-STEM Early College High School in Pharr, was recently selected to participate in the highly competitive Texas High School Aerospace Scholars Program with the NASA Johnson Space Center. The State of Texas, in partnership with NASA and the Texas educational community, developed the program in 1999 to encourage more students to pursue studies and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). More than 8,700 students from across Texas have participated in the program since its inception 18 years ago.
