There are no more slow news days in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Now, it’s nonstop news action 24/7/365. Which brings to mind the old saying – be careful what you wish for, because it may come true. Remember when the rest of the state and country virtually ignored the Lower Rio Grande Valley? We complained, hey, no one is noticing us down here. Austin, Washington, D.C. Please, pay attention. We prayed things would change: come on, notice us.
