Because the Texas Legislature dropped support of college- student funding by approximately 24 percent over the past 12 years, tuition costs have skyrocketed. Not to worry. The Lone Star state’s top college football coaches are making millions, despite pastand- present mediocre records. And the best part is, they can lose all their games and not be fired. If that isn’t cause for celebration, what is? If you like the coach’s charisma, you can keep him, no matter if he can’t produce a championship team.
