Traffic Tickets

A reader called this newspaper office last week and said he had overheard some politiquero griping that he couldn’t get his traffic ticket dismissed. “What’s happened to the Valley?” he wanted to know. Which got us thinking, how many cities still have judges and prosecutors in place inside their respective municipal courts who are willing participants when it comes to dismissing traffic tickets for friends and the well-connected?
