Federal judge again grants request for lawsuit continuance

Federal Judge Ricardo Hinojosa turns 66 next month. So it’s hard to say which will come first. His retirement from the bench or the end to the Laura Ramirez civil lawsuit filed against the City of Pharr. Two months ago, The Advance published a story about the long-running civil case (lawsuit) filed in federal court listing Laura Ramirez as the plaintiff, and the city of Pharr, its PD and police officer Daniel Linan as the defendants.
