Board suspends Weslaco ISD Superintendent with Pay

WESLACO – Weslaco ISD Superintendent Dr. Ruben Alejandro was suspended with pay by the school board during a special meeting Monday night pending an investigation. Exactly what the investigation entails has not yet been made public. Which does nothing to stem the local gossip.

 

The board is playing this one close to the vest. Even the Weslaco confidential source pool The Advance News calls on occasion, some of whom have ties to the school board, have come up empty.
