A national sports treasure. That’s what Yogi Berra is. He turns 89 this May. But it’s going to be a sad birthday for him because this month he lost his wife of more than 65 years, Carmen Berra, to a stroke. For guys who have been married that long, losing a wife is too often the start of their own decline. But Yogi’s Yogi, so maybe he can last to 100. Let’s hope.
