Wolverines Scratch Good Marks At Winter Relays

Pharr, Texas – Last Saturday saw the opening meet for the 2018 spring outdoor track and field season for 20 schools. The meet was hosted by PSJA North High School and of course, PSJA ISD. Teams from Corpus Christi, Kingsville, and the Valley showed up to make this annual event the most competitive in years.
The Wolverines from Alamo scratched some good marks in this all-relay meet. The first meet of the year gives many coaches and athletes a chance to fill relay teams that are not traditionally run during the outdoor season. Relays like the DMR (distance medley relay), the four-mile relay (4x1600), and the two-mile relay (4x800) are only three of several relay events that were held at PSJA Stadium. The Wolverines of Alamo scratched their names into the record books on one specific relay.
