Weslaco off to a great start against the Rowe Warriors

Last year’s high school football season is a distant memory as the new season officially kicked off last Thursday.
Weslaco Head Coach Mike Salinas surely wanted to forget about a 3-6 season during his first turn at the helm for the Panthers. Meanwhile, McAllen Nikki Rowe Head Coach Bobby Flores has completely forgotten last year’s 9-4 season after Weslaco stepped into McAllen Memorial Veterans Stadium last Thursday and claimed a convincing 28-7 victory in a non-conference matchup to kick off the 2018 high school football season.
