PSJA Memorial makes a game out of it

In this day and age of high-flying, no huddle, fast-paced spread offenses, it seems that old adage, which was a stronghold in football strategy since the dawn of the game, has slowly gone out the window.
It may be coming back. At least a quick look into the Edinburg Bobcats’ statistics for the year says that the old practice is still an effective way to win football games. In three games this year, the Bobcats have rushed for 200 or more yards – all three games were wins for the 3-3 squad. In their most recent win, a 28-13 district victory over PSJA Memorial, the Bobcats plowed ahead for 257 yards on the ground and three rushing touchdowns.
