Don’t know why I mention Don King, but I’m already thinking about Major League Baseball, still my favorite major league sport. It’s easier to fall asleep to on the couch. The NFL keeps you bouncing around too much. Slow, that’s how I like my sports. Plus, baseball has the best characters going back to the early 1900s.
People talk about performance-enhancing drugs. Right. Babe Ruth’s performance-enhancing drugs were hot dogs, beer, and good-looking women, in no particular order, since it was widely thought that he could handle all three at the same time, but not during the same inning.
