Edinburg native platoon leader at Fort Campbell in Kentucky

Congratulations to David Lee Puente on his promotion to first lieutenant May 4 and on his completion of Ranger School and assignment to the Airborne Ranger Squad on April 8. Currently, Puente is assigned as platoon leader at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He resides in Clarkville, Tenn. Puente is a 2011 PSJA High graduate and a UTRGV grad in 2016. He is the son of Albert and Liza Puente of Edinburg, Tx.
