DONNA - Last year, the Donna Redskins struggled with injuries – or should that be “thrived at injures?” It seemed that every other week there was a new backfield combination, and the year dragged on. The team was also on the young side, and the lack of experience showed, especially early in the season.
Staying healthy and having roster now with filled with two- and three-year starters has made quite the difference, and head coach Ramiro Leal is quick to point that out, especially after Donna’s 31-21 victory over La Joya Palmview last week.
