I swear I tried to watch the American women win the World Cup in soccer on Sunday. I was shooting pool that very afternoon, and my good bud, Roberto, told me to give it a try. Not entirely politically correct perhaps, he told me: “These chicks can really play.” Chicks? If the team heard him call them chicks, who knows what might happen to him.
