Another woman derails his game

Tiger should become celibate

By Gregg Romero Wendorf

With The Masters Tournament scheduled to begin this week, the last thing Tiger Woods needs in his bag is a blonde teeing up fodder for the tabloids. Woods looks like he’s back in contention mode this year, so female problems is the last thing he needs. In the FedEx Standings, he’s ranked number 44. Not great, but considering that he hasn’t won a PGA tournament since 2013 (WGC Bridgestone Invitational), the fact that he has contended in his last two starts (fifth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and second at the Valspar Championship) gives Woods’ fans something to cheer about after a long dry spell. His last win at a major was 10 years ago (the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines). Hard to believe when one considers that Tiger Woods once seemed unbeatable, especially when it came to clutch play.
If Tiger were to become celibate, completely wipe his mind of any and all sexual urges, wear a set of blinders, his game would no doubt drastically improve. The chances of that happening, however, are as likely as me winning this week’s lotto. The fact that I don’t buy a ticket, drops the odds to zero; the same as the odds that Tiger will become celibate anytime soon.
