Ruben Chavana
EDINBURG - Ruben Chavana, 65, went home to our Lord Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Mary Lou Chavana; a sister, Dora Chavana.
Ruben is survived by his, four children, Cynthia (Rogelio) Escalera of Port Lavaca, Miranda (Rigoberto) Garza II of San Antonio, Natasha (Fernando) Perales of El Paso, Janell Chavana of Katy; five grandchildren, Nikolas Escalera, Ariana Escalera, Liam Perales, Aria Perales, Rigoberto Garza III; one sister, Mary Chavana; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, November 20, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Interment of cremated remains.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
