SAN JUAN- Reynaldo G. “Rey” Reyes, 59, entered into eternal rest on February 29, 2016 in Pharr, Texas. He was born on September 24, 1956, in Santa Rosa, TX. Lived in San Juan, TX all his life. Reynaldo G. “Rey” Reyes is preceded in death of his mother, Manuela Guerra Reyes and his father Jesus Reyes; a sister Diamantina G. Reyes. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Ramirez Reyes; two step-children, Julie Sanchez and Leo Sanchez. Reynaldo G. “Rey” Reyes is survived by his brother, Leonardo “Leo” Reyes; one sister, Herminia “Minnie” (Jesus) Jimenez. Numerous nieces and nephews. Rey was well known Great Base Player. His love for music was admirable. He had great talent as a musician, played with Los Hermanos Banda, Cornelio Reyna, Los Dinamicos, and many more. He became a musician by the age of 16 till today. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Love you and Miss you. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
