LIBRADA SOLIS
ALAMO - Librada Solis, 93, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at The Heights of Alamo.
Born in Melvin, Texas, Mrs. Solis lived in Alamo since 1977 and was a member of Inspiration Ministries.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Solis; her parents, Diego C. and Juanita Bermea; and two brothers, Juan Antonio Bermea, Jose Bermea.
Mrs. Solis is survived by two sons, Joe (Marcy) Solis of Alamo, Federico (Diana) Solis, of Pharr; three daughters, Lydia Soliz, Maria Alma Solis, both of North Ridge, CA, Elba Reyes of Chicago, IL; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jesus Eleazar Bermea of Chicago, IL, Juan Diego Bermea of Pharr; and five sisters, Maria Ester Ybarra, Emma Bermea, both of Alamo, Irma Perez, Adela Bermea, both of Pharr, Delia Flores of CA.
Visitation was held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, September 3, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Inspiration Ministries in Alamo. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
