JOSE CONCEPCION “CHON” GONZALEZ
PHARR- Jose Concepcion “Chon” Gonzalez, 86, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Trinidad “Trine” Rodriguez. Left to cherish his beautiful memory are his nine children, Alma Beatriz (Rogelio) Prado, Mary Gonzalez (+Ricardo) Herrera, both of San Juan, Maria Margarita (+Isabel) Flores of Denton, TX, Sylvia B. (Mickey) Elizondo, San Juanita “Janie” Gonzalez, both of Pharr, Concepcion (Lisa) Gonzalez, Jr., Sandra (Jesus Jr.) Huizar, both of Edinburg, Ruben (Lisa) Gonzalez of Alamo, and Jose Arnulfo “Arnold” Gonzalez of Pharr; two brothers, Gabriel (Hilda) Gonzalez of Pharr and Jose (Blasa) Gonzalez of Reynosa; and dear friend, Edna “Lea” Killam of McAllen. Visitation was held April 9, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
