ESTELLA DELGADO

EDINBURG – Estella Delgado, 89, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in San Isidro, Estella had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Amado Jorge Delgado; a son, Noel Delgado; and her parents, Felipe and Santos Fuentes. Estella is survived by three sons, Jorge Amado (Lynnette) Delgado of Vancouver, WA, Francisco Omar (Rebecca) Delgado of Othello, WA, Rolando (Maricela) Delgado of Edinburg; four daughters, Sandra Nidia Delgado of Othello, WA, Raquel (Mauricio) Martinez, Elva Delgado, Gloria Delgado, all of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, May 26, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
