ALAMO — David “Davy” Gonzales, 42, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in Houston, he had lived in Alamo most of his life. He loved fishing, made everyone laugh and will be greatly missed. Davy is survived by his parents, Yolanda and Joe Gonzales of Alamo; four brothers, Ernest (Isabel) Gonzales of Clear Lake, TX, Edward “Eddie” Gonzales of Corpus Christi, TX, Joe (Fanilla) Gonzales of Katy, TX, Randy (Nikki) Gonzales of Magnolia, TX; eight nephews and three nieces. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service Friday, March 18, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
