CONCEPCION RODRIGUEZ

EDINBURG – Concepcion Rodriguez, 96, died March 2, 2017 at her residence in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro V. Rodriguez; four children, Margarita Rodriguez, Alicia R. Chapa, Jorge Rodriguez and Janie R. Garza. Concepcion is survived by three daughters, Yolanda R. (Juan) Garza, Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Connie R. (Ricardo) Hernandez; 12 grandchildren, Alejandro, Lisa, Victoria, Denny, Dante, Monica, George, Jaime, Ricardo III, Rolando, Rebekah, Erika and Robert; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cleotilde Garcia and Silvestra Barrera. A rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 3. Funeral service took place at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
