ANGELICA T. CRUZ
EDINBURG – Angelica T. Cruz, 91, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Angelica had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Cruz, Sr.; two sons, Miguel Cruz and Omar Cruz; a daughter, Sylvia Guerra; and her parents, Antonio and Delores Trevino.
Angelica is survived by a son, Clemente Cruz, Jr. of Edinburg; two daughters, Patricia Diana Navarro of Houston, TX, Maria Teresa (Derek) Dewberry of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, Veronica Guerra Schmidt, Monica Guerra Hinojosa, David Lee Garza, Criselda Ramos, Felix Navarro, Malcolm Dewberry, Liam Dewberry; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Treviño of Corpus Christi, TX, Gloria Garcia of California; and a brother, Armando Treviño of Corpus Christi, TX.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, Sept. 15, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
