EDINBURG — Abrana “Abby” Palomo, 91, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 23, 2015, at Windsor Arbor View in Edinburg. Abby was born in Edinburg and lived there all of her life. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Juana Reyna. Mrs. Palomo is survived by five children, Domingo (Manuela) Palomo Jr., Jesse (Linda) Palomo, both of Edinburg, Freddy (Mary Marlene) Palomo of Alexander, LA, Nancy (Ramon) P. Aguinaga of Grand Prairie, TX, George (Estella) Palomo of Weslaco; 12 grandchildren, Domingo Palomo III, David Palomo, Jennette Palomo, Melissa Ledezma, Ray Aguinaga, Mary Marlene Aguinaga, Angie Winke, Anthony Palomo, Jesse Palomo Jr., George Palomo Jr., Elizabeth Alzero, Vanessa Jimenez; and 10 great-grandchildren, Olivia Cellum, Zoe Jimenez, Isabella Dieguez, Jude Winke, Andrew Winke, Ray Aguinaga Jr., Julissa Aguinaga, Julianna Aguinaga, Amber Palomo, and Jewel Palomo. A rosary was held Monday, October 26, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
