Last week President Trump invited Senator Schumer and Representative Pelosi to the White House for a discussion about his request for wall funding. At that meeting Schumer declared that the experts agreed such a wall was ineffective and a waste of money. Pelosi opined that the president didn’t even have the votes for it in the House. Interestingly, Chuck did not name the supposed experts that had come to the conclusion the wall wouldn’t work.

Later in the week Bill O’Reilly interviewed Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd and asked him about the effectiveness of such a wall. Based on his experience of working along the Southwest border for over twenty years, Judd declared that walls are extremely effective and prevent about 95% of illegals from entering the country. Where there are sections of wall, arrests of drug smugglers, human traffickers, and undocumented immigrants go way down. In areas not protected by a wall, illegal entry goes on unabated. He added that he wasn’t merely giving his own opinion. At least ninety percent of border agents agreed with him.
