Two PSJA schools receive grants to expand STEM education at the elementary level

PHARR – Educators from two Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD schools, Clover Elementary in San Juan and Kelly-Pharr Elementary, were surprised with grants from the PSJA Education Foundation on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 to help expand science, technology, engineering and mathematics or STEM education in the elementary level.
According to PSJA Education Foundation Member Laura De La Garza, the grants will be used to purchase Ozobots and Bee-Bots, which are programmable robots.
