No competition: Bad for business

The date to file to run for PSJA board trustee came and went this past Monday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m., and only three candidates signed up to run? Has that ever happened before now? I can’t remember a PSJA election that went unopposed, and that goes back to 1982 when I first started covering this area, not counting three years between 1990 and ’93 when we moved to Austin.
As my homies would say, “Somethin’ just ain’t right with this, yo.”
