Early voting begins Wednesday for McAllen District 1 special election

McALLEN – The City of McAllen is holding a special election for registered voter residents of McAllen City Commission District 1 on Saturday, January 20, 2018, to fill the unexpired term of District 1 Commissioner Richard Cortez, who resigned to run for another office. Early Voting for this office begins Wednesday, Jan. 3, through Tuesday, Jan. 16.
Early voting by personal appearance will be held at the following three locations:
• Fireman’s Pump House - 201 North 1st Street
• Palm View Community Center - 3401 Jordan Avenue
• Lark Community Center - 2601 Lark Avenue
