Rodriguez says he was disgusted over treatment of Garza’s family

Eight consecutive election wins is a long winning streak. That’s the number of elections former Hidalgo County District Attorney Rene Guerra won before being unseated by Ricardo Rodriguez in the March 2014 Democratic Primary. Finally, after 32 years and 10 months in office (he spent 10 months as interim DA in 1979), “The Boss,” as Guerra was commonly referred to around the courthouse back then, was suddenly out of a job.
Now the two legal adversaries are back for another go-around during this upcoming March 2018 Democratic Primary. Question is: Will this primary get as heated as the last one? Is the Pope Catholic?
