Edinburg teacher named semifinalist in Harbor Freight Tools for Schools contest

EDINBURG – Harbor Freight Tools for Schools recently selected Amancio Rodriguez, an Edinburg CISD Career and Technical Education Metal Fabrication and Machining teacher from Economedes High School, as a semifinalist for the inaugural Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence.
“This award is a culmination of the success that I have had in my career working with students from all demographics,” Rodriguez said. “It has allowed me to showcase the successes of my honor and advanced students, and the accomplishments of my industrial certification program for the cohort from the Visions Academy last summer.”
